 "Lucy and Kim Swimming"

Lucy (aka Radiant Beauty) and Kimberly Gilmore (owner of Cosmic Girl) taking her swimming. Kim is now at college and Doris (Cosmic Girl) is leased out at Taylor River, and Lucy was at home this summer taking some time off from the show circuit. As you will see, Lucy really enjoys swimming on hot days at our pond!

“Kitty and Hardy”

Hardy White, a former B-17 pilot who served in 26 missions in Europe, found comfort later in life from an unlikely companion, Two J Classy Kitty (Kitty), a gentle family pet Morgan.

Kitty served Hardy as a therapeutic friend, being gentle enough to support his body and always keeping him safe while he was riding. She was patient with him and allowed him to take his time while mounting. Hardy’s family describes Kitty as really “taking care of Daddy.”

Hardy passed away on April 1, 2009 at 89 years old, after finding a new love in his life, Kitty. Kitty helped Hardy live peacefully in his later years and for that the family is forever grateful. The empathy and gentleness that Kitty displayed with Hardy is just one of the many reasons to love the Morgan breed

Here is a great picture of my daughter and our horse Sunny Acres Most Wanted (Jesse). They are great friends as you can see. Jesse just loves her and our daughter is always happy to tell everyone that he loves her more than me. We bought him 3 years ago as a three year old. I grew up showing Morgan horses and now our daughter is showing. Jesse is a big part of our lives, a loving member of the family and a true friend to our daughter! (as every horse should be to a young girl).
