Jack's For Me In Region 3...

The American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and American Morgan Horse Institute (AMHI) hope you'll spend the 133rd Kentucky Derby in Shelburne, Vermont, to help them celebrate the 20th anniversary of the "Home of the Morgan." This is a fun filled weekend hosted by the Building Committee. AMHA Executive Director, Julie Broadway, said, "We hope everyone will turn out and enjoy the food and fellowship. We simply want everyone to come have fun and celebrate with us."

This gathering in Vermont is a culmination of work by both AMHI Trustees and AMHA Directors. It truly has been a pleasure to be a part of this committee and I hope that the membership will see and feel the enthusiasm of both groups coming together for the Morgan breed.

Any time is a great time to come to Shelburne to see the building that houses both our National Museum of the Morgan Horse and the structure that our association calls home, but May is especially beautiful. I hope by attending you will become a part of history that encompasses our Morgan horse.

As we go through life we find that our true friends are people that share common interests with us all and this connection is the Morgan horse. So please come and visit with your friends and have a great time.

A $25.00 save my seat (tax deductible) RSVP is required so we know you are coming. You can send that to AMHI c/o Capital Building Fund, Attn: Barbara Young, PO Box 837, Shelburne, VT 05482, to ensure your place at the gala.

I look forward to seeing you all there.

Jack Gatewood
Region 3 Director
