• In the October 2009 issue of Stable Management magazine, Morgan trainer Catherine Cloud of Washington was profiled in an article spotlighting side businesses. Catherine has a holiday bazaar each year that has become quite successful!
• In the December 2009 issue of Stable Management magazine, the Morgan breed was one of the favorite breeds in its Readers' Choice survey!
• In the Fall 2009 GMHA (Green Mountain Horse Association) Magazine, Alexander Glover of Newfane, Vermont, was noted as a Chichester duPont Foundation Scholarship recipient. Also pictured in the same issue was Lisanne Dorion and Nation's Glory as they participated in GMHA's 100-Mile competition.
• The November 2009 issue of The Whip, the official publication of the American Driving Society, the World Pair Championships, featuring Morgan drivers Lisa Singer and Larry Poulin, was highlighted, as well as the World Pony Championships, with Suzy Stafford and Courage To Lead.
