Canequins Leatherstocking Awarded 2010 AMHA Sport Horse Award

As the 2010 AMHA Open Competition year came to an end, all the points were tallied, medallions were assigned and awards were ordered, one incredible horse stuck out in the crowd. For the year of 2010, Canequins Leatherstocking earned his Bronze Medallion in the Show division, thus completing the requirements to be awarded the AMHA Sport Horse Award. Foaled in 1994, Canequins Leatherstocking was bred by Beth Benard of Canequin Morgans. He is sired by the late Equinox Locomotion and out of Roman Elite.

The AMHA Sport Horse Award is a prestigious award given to Morgan horses competing in the AMHA Open Competition Program that earn Medallions in five of the seven divisions.
