Bellerophon has had great success as a performance horse. A son of the incomparable HVK Bell Flaire, by Noble Flaire, Bellerophon's bottom linerivals that of many great breeding horses. His dam, Carmen Sandiego, issired by Troutbrook Hallmark, sire of such grand show and breeding horses as Dancity Gracious Remark, Hyland Acres Obsession, Saralin In Excess, Heir Of Fortune, Floralan Hialeah, and Hi Sage Siempra. His second dam, Nikki Lee, is a maternal sister to the good producers Cy Don's Marleen (dam of Intrinsic Beauty) and Cy Don's Cynthia (dam of Pompp And Pazazz).

Bellerophon's first foal crops have been exceptional, and his progeny are starting to make their presence known in the show ring. ADC Pega Sass (x LPS Not So Bad) made her show ring debut at the 2011 New York Regional, winning the Grand Champion Mare and Junior Champion Mare titles. U-Nanimous (x Honeytree's Simply Unique) continued his winning ways, adding the 2-Year-Old Pleasure Driving Championship at Massachusetts Morgan to his many in-hand accolades. Holeshot (x Fair Catch) won the competitive New York Regional Futurity Weanling Championship. In addition to these three champions, we are eager to see foals by City Limits, Hail Mary, Illicit Love, Off-Sides, and Honeytree No Illusion enter the show ring in 2012!
