Advertising Rate Increase

The American Morgan Horse Association’s Board of Directors recently voted to make adjustments to the advertising rates of The Morgan Horse magazine. In order to give our loyal advertisers time to make plans, the new rates will not take effect until the June of 2021.

Due to increasing costs of production, advertising rates will see a three-percent increase. This will mean full page, color ad rate will change from $825 to $850. Some of the smaller ad sizes will increase by as little as $5.00. Rates for premium advertising—the magazine’s four covers—will also increase. This is the first time cover rates have changed since the board voted to sell front covers in 2005.

“I feel our magazine is one of the best equine publications in the industry,” said AMHA President C. A. “Tony” Lee, III. “Going forward, we will continue to produce a first-class publication at very competitive rates. We feel these upcoming increases, while fairly small, are merited and we hope the advance notice will give our supporters the opportunity to plan for the future.”
