The AMHECT Young Adult Alliance is excited to share that they have generously decided to award a $3,000.00 donation to the Harry Sebring Memorial Grant. This grant gives AMHA members, under the age of 40, funds to further their equine education, skills, or proficiency and/or provide equine-related experiences and education to promote the grant recipient's business endeavors. It was created in memory of the incredible Harry Sebring, a renowned Morgan Horse trainer, by his family. He always wanted to see young adults excel personally and professionally in the industry. This donation will ensure the grant continues to provide resources for those eligible AMHA members who would like to further their equine education. Proceeds from the hugely successful Pie-A-Trainer fundraiser at the 2021 Morgan Grand National, along with existing funds, helped make this contribution financially possible.

Stacey Myers, YAA Co-chair, had this to say about their donation, "Harry Sebring was instrumental to the ideas that helped form the Young Adult Alliance. Continuing education within the breed is part of the YAA's mission. We feel it is essential to ensure the sustainability of the Harry Sebring Memorial Grant and honor Harry. YAA's donation will continue education for the future of the Morgan Breed."
