Ella Kim

Ella Kim is a current undergraduate student at the University of Vermont, where she majors in Animal Science and dual minors in Equine Studies and Business Administration. Ella started her riding journey through her barn's summer camp program as a child and has since matured into a dedicated show rider. She enjoys showing various divisions and seats, with her personal favorite being park saddle! Ella and her family proudly own two Morgan horses, Ledgefield's Juliet GCH and Maximum Velocity. When she's not spending time with horses at the barn or at school learning about them and pursuing her degree, Ella enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her favorite activities include skiing, seeing live music, going to coffee shops, napping with her dog, watching movies, and traveling.

Madeline Wolff

Hello! My name is Madeline Wolff, and I recently completed my first year at William Woods University, where I am majoring in Equestrian Science and Equine Administration. I am 19 years old and have been riding Morgan horses since the age of seven after I attended a riding camp at Wichita Riding Academy, and from that point on, horses became such an integral part of my life. Through my many years of involvement in the horse world, I have participated in various activities ranging from riding, to showing, to teaching, and general horse care. In the future, I hope to continue working within the horse industry as a trainer and instructor while staying involved with Morgan horses.

Abby Green

 I started my journey with the Morgan breed when I was 8 years old and started riding at a summer camp at a local Morgan barn. Now I'm nearing my ninth year with the breed with two marvelous Morgans of my own, A Shot in the Dark and MHMF Colorado Spice. I've been on the Youth Council for about a year now and have held the position as secretary for most of it. My favorite thing about being on the youth council is learning more about the Morgan breed and being able to share it with others especially through our jeopardy nights, which are a lot of fun and a great way to review for youth contests. I hope to see you there!

Katherine Fanta

Hi! My name is Katherine Fanta, I'm 17 and from St. Paul, Minnesota. I have been riding for 12 years, and horses have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. I got started with Saddlebreds, but really fell in love with Morgans and the way they think. My favorite division to compete in has always been equitation. I love the communication that has to happen between horse and rider to execute a good pattern. I am very grateful to be a part of the Youth Council and help give back to this amazing industry!

Collin Fuentes

I’ve been involved with Morgan horses for several years, and they’ve become a huge part of my life. I’m especially interested in saddle seat and pleasure driving, which have taught me a lot about hard work and responsibility. Being involved in the Morgan community has helped me grow as both a rider and a person. I enjoy learning from others, improving my skills, and being part of a sport I care about. My experiences with Morgan horses have played a big role in shaping my goals for the future.

Jacqueline Schatzberg

My name is Jacqueline Schatzberg and Morgan Horses have been in my life since I can remember. I started showing Morgans in academy and fell in love from there. I am so excited to be on the Youth Council to not only to plan events for our Youth but to expand the community in an industry that has helped me grow up. 

Amelia Gordon

My name is Amelia Gordon I’m 14 and I have 3 Morgan’s: SSL Dynamic Design, BRMF Final Explosion and Reuben-IDE Godiva and I have one saddlebred. I show Classic Pleasure and have been riding since I was 3. My favorite thing about Morgan’s is how kind they are and how quickly they learn. I participate in AMHA Youth of the year contests, and joined the AMHA youth council to meet new people my age also involved with the Morgan horse. As well as to help reach more youth members and encourage them to be active among the Morgan breed. 

Alexa Crane

Hi my name is Alexa Crane and I am 20 years old and I am from Jacksonville, Florida. I fell in love with Morgan Horses after visiting the UVM Morgan Horse Farm in Vermont, where I am now an apprentice!  It was love at first sight and ignited a deep passion inside of me for this unique, incredible breed. I love all aspects of the horse world from care to riding, driving to grooming and braiding, and from equine photography to reading horse books and researching pedigrees. One of my favorite things about horses is that there is always something new for them to teach us and there is always more to learn about them. My involvement with horses has included an amazing internship at a therapeutic equestrian center, being a coach for an Equestrian Special Olympics team as well as being a member of the AMHA Youth Merit Program. I am so excited and immensely grateful to be a part of this beautiful Morgan community and this wonderful council. I am beyond honored to be given the opportunity to share my love and gratitude for this breed while helping to draw other youth through education and awareness to the breed that chooses you! 

Kate Fenik

My name is Kate Fenik, and spending time with horses is my absolute favorite thing to do. I especially love Morgan horses because they are so versatile and willing. I’ve been passionate about horses for many years, they are intelligent, strong, and super fun to spend time with and ride. When I’m not riding, I like learning more about the Morgan breed and taking part in AMHA Youth of the Year contests. I’m also the president of an AMHA Youth Club, and I help out with many things around the barn. I love showing horses, and one of my biggest accomplishments so far is winning at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show. One of my goals this year is to help even more young people get involved with Morgan horses.

Victoria Miller

Hi, my name is Victoria and I’ve been on the AMHA Youth Team, Mighty Morgans, for 4 years. I have been riding horses for 5 years. I’m 14 years old and show Hunt Seat Equitation 13&Under and Hunter Pleasure Junior Exhibitor 13&Under. I also participate in Fitting and Showmanship. Some things I like to do in my spare time are archery, crocheting, being with the horses, and being on the AMHA Youth Council. My favorite thing about the horses at the barn are all their personalities and how different each one is. This year I am leasing Osage Makayla, also known as Makayla, and I’m excited for this show season with her!
