USEF Saddle Seat Medal Finals

US Equestrian, in conjunction with the UPHA Board of Directors, agreed to move the USEF Saddle Seat Adult Amateur Medal Final to the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show starting in 2023. The decision was made to move this Final from the Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show to the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show to enable the adult amateur riders to have a longer qualification time frame for the 2023 competition year. Also starting in 2023, the qualification requirements were changed for Morgan exhibitors for the USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final.

For the 2024 USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final to be held November 16, 2024:

Eligibility

USEF Saddle Seat Medal Classes are open to Junior Members in good standing who have not reached their 18th birthday in accordance with GR128. No credit will be given for winnings before a competitior becomes both a USEF/AMHA member. A rider must place first through fourth in a USEF Saddle Seat Medal qualifying class to be eligible to compete in the Final. The first place winner is elimiated from further qualifying classes during that year. To fill a class, two competitiors must show with proper appointments.

Qualification

The 2024 qualification period runs from 10/28/2023 to 10/26/2024.

For the 2024 USEF Saddle Seat Adult Amateur Medal Final to be held November 15, 2024:

Eligibility

USEF Saddle Seat Adult Amateur Medal classes are open to Senior Active Amateur Members in good standing, 18 years of age or older. No credit will be given for winnings before a competitior becomes both a USEF/AMHA member. A rider must have shown and been judged in a qualifying class to be eligible to compete in the USEF Adult Amateur Medal Final. A win does not eliminate the rider from further competion in this class for the remainder of the qualifying season.

Qualification

The 2024 qualification period runs from 11/10/2023 to 11/7/2024.

Both finals will be held at the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show
in Kansas City, MO.
