AMHA Office Closed March 16th to 20th

March 16, 2020

In light of the expanding efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, AMHA’s office will be closed this week in order to establish efficient protocols for the staff to work remotely during this uncertain period.  AMHA is committed to following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization for protection against and prevention of the spread of COVID-19.

On a positive note, the transition of the office from Vermont to Kentucky has required us to become cloud based in order to allow staff to work remotely.  We have the capabilities to operate in such a manner in place.  However, AMHA did not anticipate the government guidelines being issued and approximately half the staff is working from one of the two locations currently operating.  AMHA is still in the process of transitioning the main office from Vermont to Kentucky and neither office is completely operational with all equipment, materials, etc.

Therefore, we ask for your patience while we use this week to get our staff safely set up in their homes to continue providing services for our members.  There will be delays in obtaining physical membership cards and registrations certificates once we reopen with the new remote work plan in place.  Please understand we will be developing NEW procedures to assist you with your needs.  We ask that you refrain from calling or e-mailing this week if you can delay your inquiries in order to let us focus on preparing our new workflow processes.

The AMHA Board of Directors will be meeting shortly to make further statements regarding best business practices and recommendations for shows scheduled during the coming days/weeks.

Should you have questions or need to seek additional information regarding COVID-19, USEF has an extensive page of links available on their website at:  https://www.usef.org/media/coronavirus-resources.

We appreciate your flexibility as we respond to the evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.  We will provide updated communications as they available.  We know our Morgan Community will be supportive so we can all get through this together.
