UPHA Morgan Classics at 2017 Grand National

The United Professional Horsemen’s Association (UPHA) is pleased to announce the UPHA Morgan Classic Grand Championships will once again be offered at the Grand National & World Champion Morgan Horse Show® held in Oklahoma City, OK, October 7-14, 2017.

The two highest placing nominated horses in each of the following classes: World Champion 3-Year-Old Park Harness, World Champion 3-Year-Old Pleasure Driving, and World Champion 3-Year-Old Hunter Pleasure will be crowned the UPHA Morgan Classic Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion. Prize money will be given through eight placings to eligible UPHA Classic horses and $15,000 prize money will be awarded to eligible ribbon winners among the three championships.

To be UPHA Classics eligible, the horse must be nominated to the UPHA Classics program. Both the owner and trainer of the entry must be an active member of UPHA. The Morgan horse must have placed first through sixth in a UPHA Morgan Classic qualifying class throughout the 2017 show season.
