Nominations for UPHA Caretaker Hall of Fame Due August 15

June 5, 2019

The United Professional Horsemen's Association (UPHA) is accepting nominations for its annual UPHA Caretaker Hall of Fame.

UPHA offers two UPHA Caretaker Hall of Fame Awards again this year; one presented at Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show, Lexington, Kentucky, in July, and the other at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. These awards recognize the important person working behind the scenes who not only ensures the horses they look after are given the best possible care, but they are a team player who conducts themselves in a professional manner while contributing to the show horse industry.

Nominations for the UPHA Morgan Caretaker Hall of Fame are due August 15, 2019. Last year's recipient was Ernesto Chavolla, longtime trainer for Whitney Stables.

Nominations must be submitted in writing or via email detailing why the candidate is deserving of the honor. Nominations should be emailed to info@uphaonline.com, faxed to (859) 255-2774, or mailed to UPHA, 4059 Iron Works Parkway, Suite 2, Lexington KY 40511.
