AMHA Awards Equitation Gold Medals

October 21, 2020

By Stephen Kinney

Excellence in equitation is recognized by AMHA through its medal classes, culminating with the Gold Medal Finals at the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show® each year. Gold Medals are sponsored in six seats: Saddle Seat, Western Seat, Hunter Seat on the Flat, Hunter Seat Over Fences, Reining Seat, and Dressage Seat. For many young riders the Gold Medal Finals are the culmination of their hard work and big dreams.

With the October 17th conclusion of the Grand National show, AMHA would like to acknowledge its 2020 Gold Medal winners. The comments included are from The Morgan Horse magazine correspondents covering the show.

Congratulations to riders and instructors for these significant achievements. And thank you to all who compete to earn an AMHA Gold Medal.
