AMHA Announces Staffing Changes

There is always A LOT to do at the AMHA office and staff have stepped up to the plate to improve processes for our membership in 2021.

Youth Programs Coordinator, Nicole Scovotti has been promoted to AMHA Programs Manger.  Nikki’s efficient and swift success with the youth programs of the association in 2020 has primed her to take on the varied programs AMHA offers to ensure quality offerings and scouting improvements along the way.

Joining Nikki in the Programs Department will be Molly McGuill as Programs Coordinator.  Many of you know Molly from her involvement with Morgans and her employment with Cater Stables.  We look forward to new and inspiring input from her as she begins her role with AMHA.

Heading up the Accounting Department for AMHA will be Kathie Morrow who joined the AMHA team in December of 2019 in preparation for the relocation from Vermont to Kentucky.  Kathie’s problem-solving skills and attention to detail will ensure that AMHA keeps on top of all financial housekeeping moving forward.

Kristen Kelly, who made the move from the Vermont Office will reprise her role as Executive Assistant using her keen organizational skills and tech savvy awareness to keep the administration efficient and effective.

Executive Director, Carrie Mortensen stated “I’m very thankful to the entire staff of AMHA for their dedication and perseverance through what has proven to be a very challenging year.  I look forward to moving forward with this unified team.”
