Dear Members:

The American Morgan Horse Association has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to administer its 2024 Board of Directors Election.

Our election is a hybrid election which means that both paper ballots and electronic ballots will be provided to AMHA members eligible to vote. Paper ballots will be mailed to members in good standing at the address of record on file AND electronic ballots will be e-mailed to members in good standing to the e-mail address on file on or around, Thursday, November 30, 2023. Members will be allowed to vote EITHER with a paper ballot in the mail OR an electronic ballot online; or may vote in person or by proxy at the AMHA Annual Meeting of Members on January 25, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. In the event that multiple ballots are received from or on behalf of a member, the final ballot cast will be counted.

SBS will send an email to you with your private codes to access and submit your ballot electronically if desired. To make sure this email lands safely in your inbox, please add this email address to your contacts as an approved sender: noreply@directvote.net. Your email should arrive on or around Thursday,  November 30, 2023. If it does not appear, please check your SPAM folder.

AMHA Bylaw 2.13 requires that each Region cast a minimum of 100 ballots to establish a quorum and validate the election. So even if your Region has only one person running for a position, AMHA still NEEDS YOUR VOTE!

Should you have questions or need assistance with your ballot, contact Carrie Mortensen at execdir@morganhorse.com

Thank you! And, please be sure to vote!
